Globetrotters pay tribute to Flash Richardson

Herbert and Nathaniel of the Harlem Globetrotters, aka Flight Time and Big Easy, have been paying tribute to the late Chris “Flash” Richardson this season. Richardson played basketball at UNLV.Flight Time and Big Easy have worn shirts or necklaces with "CLR" on them as they travel around Tokyo, Phnom Penh, and Dubai. Richardson, 28, passed away in December while on tour with the Globetrotters in Japan. Flash, Big Easy and Flight Time were so tight they were known as “The Three Amigos” among the Globetrotters. “Hey, no problem,” Nathaniel wrote on his BlackBerry from somewhere in Asia. “Meeting and playing with Chris was special for me. It’s a small hello from us to his family and friends. That was part of why we did the show. Thanks for the e-mail. Much love.” Do you find this valuable?
