Is there something that you saw on The Amazing Race that bothered you?
Well fret not because this page is just the page you need!
Voice out your controversies and it might just get solved!

Due to complaints that the clues are getting too simple you could have clues that the contestants can't take with them (think ep3 of all-stars when the clue was on the bottom of the tank.) While the clue envelopes may be a vital icon of the amazing race, the envelops could be replaced by a physical sign that has the clue written on it (they could even just be a picture on occasions). The teams wouldn't be able to take the clues with them because they aren't on a piece of paper. Then the teams would have the choice of either wasting time studying the clue (possibly writing it down) or quickly reading it and running off. This could result in some teams having to go back and re-read clues because they didn't study them hard enough the first time. For things like detours and roadblocks the clue could have a wood cover that the teams have to hold up to read the clue and then put it back down, so as to avoid other teams catching glances. And to make sure each team checks each clue (ie. like on occasions when teams haven't collect all the clues and Phil then tells them to go back and do so) they could have to take placing numbers at each clue, similar to yields, that would prove that they have completed the task and 'collected' the clue
Eliminate the catch up at the airport. The first team in should be able to leave at a time to get to the airport when the ticket counters first open then the remaining teams leave after them according to when they checked in. When all teams leave in the middle of the night, the lead team gets penalized at the airport. And please no more Rob and Amber.

(Before I begin, I believe many of the above ideas to be unrealistic, but at the same time, some are interesting)
I believe that, of the races I have seen, the race comes down to one flight to America and so one taxi drive to the pitstop, with maybe one route marker in between.
Rather than just one challenge or route marker in America, they should have the final destination before the pit stop either in America, or just outside its borders, so it allows one last full leg of competition, ending with a drive across the border to the finish line being very near.
TAR 3
had a road block which I think was very inventive, but it wasn't very time demanding and so in the end, it came down to yet again a taxi. This always seems unfair as they have been racing for so long and come so far only to lose because of a taxi, and not on their own demerits.
Similarly, I know that FF are expensive, and yields can not be placed everywhere, but they are (especially this race) very bunched up close together and near the end of the race, there wasn't much to change the order before and now there is quite a lot. On a tangent however, I think the non-elimination legs have been spaced out more nicely and interestingly, and the 'marked for elimination' is both more fair, but less interesting to watch. my opinion anyways.
Amazing Race All Stars was unfair on the final leg of the race. The mile run on the beach and the rowing to the shipwreck was not physically fair to Charla. A mile of sand and rocks, what were you thinking? Perhaps in your quest for ratings, you should factor in physical limitations of your final three and plan accordingly. Charla and Mirna had an 40-minute advantage of finding the first flight and you turned that lead into 10 minutes because of the helicopter charter schedule. Charla and Mirna were sand bagged on the final leg of the race. They ran a respectable race. Some would argue that the above did not ultimately affect the outcome. I disagree. Unlike the backstabbing, trashy Blondie's who you dubbed the beauty queens. They were the best example of mean-spirited liars and they were ugly from the inside out. Eric and Danielle cried their way through the race, so I don't know why I am surprised that they won. The fact that you brought Rob and Amber back for a second time should have been my first clue that the Amazing Race All-Stars would lack character or substance. I seriously doubt that I will watch this program again.
You say it was not fair to Charla but she opted to go on the show and there should not be any special treatment because you know of all the challenges before going onto the show and she herself said she did not wanted to be treated differently.
I love the race. I believe the staff of the race has no idea who will be coming in for the final leg. We have to remember this race is based on how quick and smart you are. The road blocks are set way in advance before the race even starts, so, the staff does NOT know who is coming in on the next leg. You really believe they are setting up the detours and road blocks as the racers are racing? You've got to be kidding. This takes months of planning and visiting other countries and finding out what you can and cannot do. It really wouldn't be an AMAZING RACE if it were set up to cater to the racers, they receive amazing benefits and gifts as it is, they travel the world for free. Charla new her height would be a factor, but she didn't let that hold her back, the final leg was not set up for Charla or any of the other teams. When you go into this race you have to understand if you are going to come in with physical challenges already than you know it's a chance you are taking. You need to be strategic and quick, you may have flaws like, weight, height even no sense of navigation. The amazing race is set up for anyone to win, I believe these two woman were aggressive and strong, it just came down to a foot race and this can happen to anyone. I love the way the race is set up, if you win, you win on your own efforts, Danielle and Eric went through hell, even their relationship was hindered because of the race, but they are now 300K richer. I think they played strong and were a great example of what the race is about, and it's never give up. Kandice and Dustin, I don't know, towards the end we seen the old queens as they truly are. They did play a good game, it would have been great to see them win for breaking records sake but I have to say I am happy with the outcome, Congrats to Dani & Eric, Mirna you are really smart, loud but smart "Queens of the flights", Charla you were awesome, you really kicked some butt out there, every time I seen her I was like what an example and amazing WOMAN! God bless her.
Totally Disgusted!

My mother and I were watching your show tonight (Sunday, November 25) when we came to the portion of the show that involved putting live chickens in a tiny bag and carrying them around through parts of the show. We later came to yet another portion of the show that put everything over the top for us- little goats in small baskets being carried on bikes and tightly strapped into places. This thoroughly outraged my mother and I!! We had been fans of your show before but now, after this episode alone, we are not. This is -just and just plain not right! We both understand that the civilians of the city need to carry along with the process of painfully slaughtering animals and transferring them in any ways possible to keep their families and themselves alive, but must we Americans really sink that low? We do not need to join in on hurting these animals when it is not necessary. All of these game shows are here for are to get people's attention and get money- and the producers don't care who or what they hurt along the way! You should take some time to think about the animals rights who are FORCED into this- they had no say at all! Please,in the future (hopefully from now on!) you producers will think of someone/ something other than yourselves!! My mother and I will never watch your show again. I am sure we are not alone on our thoughts.
Outraged and disgusted,
A mother and daughter who care.
every race should end on a challenge, followed by a foot-race to the finish. No taxi rides to the finish line as that can be very luck based. Every race should end like Season 9 did, where they had a task which required them to look back on the race. Then the winners are those that truly raced the race, and not just the team that got the right cab driver. And if that ever resulted in a foot-race then great, all the more tense and entertaining!!!
i think amazing race should have a proper clothes rules.
I think that the "helpers" of the show do things to make it more entertaining. Such as flatten a tire on one of the cars, make it so there is only 1 ticket on the plane, Random road work signs, just more common day stuff.
Amazing Race All-Stars - Predetermined?
On the final leg of All-Stars, the final challenge involved going into a vault and seeing if one team member could match the answers of the other. The questions they had to answer were all about the eliminated teams. The eliminated teams were given numbers, and teams had to match the 4-digit combination of their teammate. The teams were listed in elimination order, and the final three were also in correct order. Example (Charla and Mirna's paper):
1. John Vito and Jill
2. Kevin and Drew
3. David and Mary
4. Rob and Amber
5. Teri and Ian
6. Joe and Bill
7. Uchenna and Joyce
8. Oswald and Danny
9. Dustin and Kandice
10. Eric and Danielle
If this season wasn't predetermined, could they really have had time to create this little challenge during the pit stop of leg 12? Otherwise, the results may have been pre-planned and acted out by the teams accordingly. And it would definitely fit in with Rob & Amber not even trying or being worried about elimination on leg 4, because they would already know about the elimination. Just an interesting thought. -Hooky
I think the amazing race needs 4-way intersections
There have been many contravesies over time penalties.I think they should be finalized:
Not completing a roadblock: 4 hours
Not completeing a detour: 12 or 24 hours
Reading a clue wrongly (taking a taxi instead of walking): Either 30 minutes or Time Earned..
Taking two clues: 1 hours penalty
doing a task wrong or incomplete: Either 30 minute penalty or Have to go back and complete it again
On the 5th episode of The Amazing Race, a Roadblock was performed that involved running a marathon in near freezing temperatures. I thought that was a little too much, considering the few clothes the male and/or female racers were wearing. This could upset many a CBS executive, depending on the risque elements pertaining thereto. So, in the future, no more cold temperature running, and absolutely NO NUDITY!
Season 11
Hello, I am watching this season in South Africa during this month (April 2009), in this season they had the option on Cookie Confection, where they have to search through 600 boxes of traditional Malaysian festive cookies, by biting into them, and find the one cookie that had a black licorice center. I found this very upsetting given the food crisis around the world, plus those cookies are delicacies for the locals who had to see how this foreigners spit all the cookies. So, please I hope in future seasons the producers could be more sensitive to the social issues and hard reality of the many countries they are visiting.
When i watching Leg 9 (April 19,2009) on recorded It was bad episode about Kisha & Jen who didn't wait and let Luke & Margie get the clue first. Luke & Margie got out of taxi first and trying to look for the clue that when Kisha & jen got out so when Luke found the clue Kisha & Jen bang into him o course Luke had put his elbow on thm " get out of the way, I was here first"
Please stop doing mid-point eliminations or even worse starting line eliminations (season 15) in the first leg. They aren't entertaining. They aren't exciting. In fact you just feel disappointment that you didn't get to see that team. Stop doing them, the don't benefit the show, they make it worse.

The challenge was made durring the final stop and Charla & Mirnas paper was just a fluke as I can recall the Beauty Queens and Eric & Danielle where not in the order of the finish of the final three.
